This page explains when you can get your money back from Future Academy, how to ask, and how long it takes. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
What can be purchased
- A full course — access to its lessons and materials.
- A single lesson — one live lesson at a set time.
- A subscription — a recurring plan for teachers or academies.
When you are entitled to a refund
- Course: within 7 days of payment, provided you have viewed no more than 20% of its content.
- Single lesson: if cancelled at least 24 hours before it starts.
- Subscription: within 7 days of the paid period starting, unless its benefits have been substantially used.
What is not refundable
- A course that was completed and for which a certificate was issued.
- A lesson you attended, or cancelled less than 24 hours beforehand without good reason.
- Wallet points and promotional credit — these are granted, not paid.
- The value of a coupon discount; only money actually paid is returned.
How to request a refund
- Write to us from the contact page or the feedback form.
- Include the account email, the course or lesson, and the date of payment.
- We review it and reply either confirming the refund or explaining why not.
How the money comes back
Refunds go back to the same payment method used for the purchase, within at most 14 business days of approval. Your bank or payment provider may take additional days to show it, which is outside our control.
Cancelling a subscription
You can stop renewal at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Once the 7-day window has passed, unused days are not refunded pro rata.
Academies and teachers
Academy subscriptions settle on a monthly cycle. Where a student refund affects earnings already counted towards a teacher or academy, the amount is deducted from the next settlement.
Governing law
Nothing here removes any right your local consumer protection law gives you. Where the two conflict, the law prevails.
