You may ask us to delete your account and personal data from Future Academy at any time. This page explains what is deleted, what we are required to keep, and how to ask.
How to request deletion
Send the request through the form below and choose the type "Delete my data". If you are signed in we will identify your account automatically; if not, give the email address the account uses so we can find it.
Request deletionWe confirm you own the account before acting — which is what stops someone else deleting it. We action requests within 30 days at the latest and confirm by email.
What gets deleted
- Your name, email, phone number, photo and profile details.
- Your messages, chats, comments and questions on the platform.
- Files and personal recordings you uploaded.
- Sign-in data, sessions, notification preferences and alert subscriptions.
- Any link to an external sign-in (Google or Microsoft).
What we keep, and why
| Data | Reason | For how long |
|---|---|---|
| Payment and invoice records | Accounting and tax obligations | 5 years |
| Administrative audit entries | System security and abuse investigation | A limited period, detached from your name |
| Teacher-authored content | Belongs to the academy or teacher, not the student | Retained, with your involvement removed |
Whatever we keep is separated from your identity: names and personal details are stripped and only the accounting figures remain, so nothing leads back to you.
Accounts belonging to minors
If the account belongs to a student under the legal age, the request should come from the guardian linked to it. If no guardian is linked, send the request and explain your relationship to the student.
Alternatives that may be enough
- Just stop the messages: use notification settings and keep your account.
- Correct your details: from your profile page.
- Stop tracking: "Cookie Settings" at the foot of the home page.
